Lead Engineer – Operations Support System Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic OSS Architect to lead the design, transformation, and continuous enhancement of OSS within Network Operations. This role is critical in driving automation, AI-driven operations, digital transformation, Innovation, service assurance, and system integration initiatives to build scalable, high-performing, and future-ready OSS platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage modern AI technologies, analytics platforms, and advanced operational tools to enhance network intelligence, predictive maintenance, autonomous operations, incident management, and operational efficiency across the telecom ecosystem.

The Job

• Lead the end-to-end architecture design, planning, and transformation of OSS platforms with a strong focus on AI-driven operations, intelligent automation, and Autonomous Network strategies.
• Define OSS standards, governance frameworks, AI integration models, and scalable architectures to support future-ready Autonomous Network operations.
• Drive AI-first modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation, platform consolidation, predictive analytics, intelligent orchestration, and automation at scale.
• Architect and implement AI-powered OSS solutions for proactive fault detection, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, service assurance, self-healing and operational optimization within Autonomous Network environments.
• Lead the integration of OSS platforms with AI/ML engines, observability platforms, analytics systems, network elements, IT systems, and third-party applications using API-driven and event-driven architectures.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize modern operational tools, observability platforms, orchestration frameworks, and automation technologies to support intelligent 24/7 network operations.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and reliability of OSS ecosystems through proactive monitoring, predictive alerting, and continuous performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, operations teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready OSS solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and operational governance across OSS and Autonomous Network environments.
• Provide strategic leadership for 24/7 operational support models, ensuring continuous service availability, rapid incident response, and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous innovation by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and modern operational technologies to improve network intelligence and operational efficiency.

The Person

• BSc Eng (Hon’s) in Electronics /Telecommunications /Electrical /Computer Science /IT or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• MSc in a relevant field will be considered an added advantage.

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant industry experience in OSS, telecom operations, or system architecture.
• Experience in system integration, API frameworks, and middleware technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven operational models, predictive analytics, and autonomous operations will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of OSS architecture, telecom operations, and service assurance platforms.
• Exposure to cloud, virtualization, and modern network technologies.
• Expertise in automation, orchestration, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, operational governance, and security standards.
