Lead – Network Analytics and Automation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking professional to lead the development of next-generation telecom analytics and automation platforms. This role is pivotal in driving AI-powered, autonomous network operations, enabling smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.

You will lead the architecture, engineering, and delivery of scalable platforms that integrate data, AI/ML, and telecom domain intelligence across the network ecosystem.

The Job

• Lead end-to-end architecture, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of telecom analytics and automation platforms
• Design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern engineering practices and microservices architectures
• Develop solutions using Python, Java, Spring Boot, Golang, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures

• Design and implement autonomous and AI-assisted workflows for telecom operations and optimization
• Enable decision automation, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing networks

• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured telecom datasets
• Leverage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, ClickHouse

• Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices
• Drive an automation-first engineering culture focused on reliability and scalability

• Develop APIs, orchestration layers, and integration frameworks across OSS/BSS and telecom systems
• Drive cross-domain integrations across RAN, Core, Transport, IP, Fiber, Cloud, and 2G–5G networks
• Support network planning, capacity forecasting, service assurance, and fault correlation

• Build observability and telemetry frameworks for proactive monitoring
• Enable real-time insights and autonomous decision-making capabilities

• Research emerging technologies in AI, autonomous networks, telecom analytics, and intelligent automation
• Identify and introduce innovative platforms and products to maximize infrastructure efficiency and business value

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering and analytics team
• Drive technical roadmaps, project delivery, and stakeholder alignment
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence across all platforms
• Provide ongoing support, governance, and optimization for internal and third-party solutions

The Person

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in telecom, software engineering, data platforms, or network analytics
• Strong expertise in:
  • Distributed systems & microservices architecture
  • AI/ML, data engineering, and analytics platforms
  • Telecom network domains and operations
• Proven ability to build and scale complex platforms in cloud-native environments
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
