One of our prestigious clients, Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd (BVIL), India, is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager – Industry and Building & Infrastructure to join their team in Colombo immediately.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive business development for Building & Infrastructure (B&I) and Industry & Infrastructure (I&F) product portfolios, including EIA, Geotech, Design Review, QA/QC, NDT-RR, HSE Audits, and Training across Sri Lanka.
  • Lead country-level sales strategy and execution across Oil & Gas, Power, Process, Material Handling, and Infrastructure sectors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including tracking major projects, tenders, and strategic prospects.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for large, mid-market, and mass-market clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and client database for long-term business growth.
  • Engage with clients to present services, assess requirements, and convert opportunities into business.
  • Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage branding and marketing initiatives including conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops.
  • Ensure strong coordination with internal teams for tender submissions and contract execution.
  • Achieve revenue, margin, pipeline, and conversion targets as per KPIs.

Job Requirements

  • Engineer with a Management Degree.
  • 15–20 years of relevant experience in sales/business development.
  • Strong background in infrastructure, industrial, or technical service sectors.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a performance-driven, target-oriented environment.
