Job description

You should ideally:

possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline, with a postgraduate qualification being an added advantage
possess approximately 6 years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or credit operations, with a strong understanding of lending policies and regulatory requirements
demonstrate sound knowledge of credit assessment, compliance procedures, operational processes, and quality management principles
have strong analytical skills with the ability to review documentation accurately, identify discrepancies, and maintain high attention to detail
possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
be proficient in process improvement, performance monitoring, data analysis, and the use of banking systems and Microsoft Office applications

You will be mainly responsible for:

reviewing and processing credit card applications to ensure compliance with internal lending policies, regulatory requirements, and established service standards
resolving operational issues, responding to stakeholder queries, and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of system or process-related concerns
monitoring workflow, maintaining service level agreements, and driving efficient, accurate, and timely processing of applications
maintaining operational records, preparing performance reports, supporting resource planning, and contributing to continuous process improvements and automation initiatives
supporting projects, new product implementations, staff training, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
ensuring adherence to audit, compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements while maintaining up-to-date procedures and promoting operational excellence
