Casual Wear Seamstresses (Colombo, Sri Lanka) 

Job Introduction

 

One of our reputed clients, a contemporary designer fashion house, is seeking skilled and creative Casual Wear Seamstresses to join their growing team. The ideal candidates should have strong garment construction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality casual wear garments with excellent finishing standards.

 • Construct casual wear garments such as dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, shirts, and co-ord sets.
• Follow approved patterns, measurements, designs, and production instructions accurately.
• Handle cutting, stitching, finishing, and basic alterations where required.
• Work with different fabrics while maintaining clean stitching and quality finishing.
• Support custom orders and client-specific garment adjustments.
• Coordinate with the design and production team to complete garments on time.
• Maintain neatness, accuracy, and consistency across all garments.
• Ensure garments meet the required quality and presentation standards.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress in casual wear, ready-to-wear, or fashion garment production.
• Strong sewing and finishing skills.
• Ability to work with different fabrics and garment styles.
• Good understanding of measurements, fit, and alterations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently within production timelines.
• Professional attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
