About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- 1Lead and manage all Human Resources functions within the organization.
- 2Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business and operational goals.
- 3Manage employee relations, including industrial relations in unionised or semi-unionised settings
- 4Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution effectively.
- 5Develop HR policies, procedures, and frameworks for organizational efficiency.
- 6Ensure proper documentation and reporting of HR activities and compliance matters. Requirements
Requirements
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is required. Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience.
- 3At least 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
- 4Strong knowledge of Sri Lanka labor law, EPF, ETF, and statutory compliance requirements.
- 5Proven experience in managing industrial employee relations in unionised or semi-unionised settings.
- 6Experience in setting up HR functions in greenfield or startup manufacturing operations is a strong advantage.
- 7Strong expertise in managing both blue-collar and white-collar workforce requirements
- 8Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
